Before you read any further, I'll invite you to take a moment to think about different environments you find yourself in. These could be professional, personal, recreational or competitive environments. Now pause and reflect, on a time in your life when you may have met someone in any of those environments who wasn’t just simply good at what they did, but was exceptional at what they did.
What was it about what they did that made them exceptional?
In answer to that question some people might pass these exceptional people off as gifted, genetically blessed or just lucky. As a result of that kind of thinking, those people may not have thought more on the topic of how they too could attain similar results to those exceptional people. And even though some of these factors such as luck, may be at play to a greater or lesser degree in different settings and at different times; what seems to be universally true is that the pursuit of excellence is what contributes greatly to people achieving excellence. This is where the study of NLP can be of great assistance.
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” - Aristotle
NLP has been around in various forms since 1975. It is a field devoted to the study of excellence and the structure of subjective experience. As such, the primary focus of quality NLP training, is to teach people how to find and model other people (exemplars) who have desirable skills; in order to develop competence on par or better than the exemplar.
“NLP is an attitude and a methodology that leaves behind a trail of techniques.” - Richard Bandler (Co-Developer of NLP)
NLP is well known internationally for the creation of techniques derived from the NLP modeling process. These techniques have been used successfully to enhance performance in various areas such as leadership, coaching, sales, facilitation, public speaking, marketing, customer service, counseling and competitive sports to name just a few areas. It's a common misconception amongst the uninformed that the techniques themselves are NLP. This would be akin to seeing footprints in the sand and calling those footprints the process of walking. So in essence the techniques of NLP are simply the trail left behind by the people who are engaged in the process of NLP modelling.
Now think back to that time when you encountered an exceptional person, how beneficial would it have been for you, if you had in your possession a methodology that could have helped you learn to do what they did and to learn it in a shorter time frame?

The workshops are highly experiential and involve your body and mind in lots of unique and interesting ways. Participants are strongly encouraged to contribute their life experiences and wisdom in order to enrich the group’s learning.
The program also uses NLP to teach you NLP, therefore the training design is thoughtfully constructed to provide you with an optimal learning experience and to accelerate your uptake and retention of key concepts and principles.
